Valentines Day, 2003.
How did you come to be on Bowen?
Was recommended that we visit by a friend. Biked to Bowen Bay for a picnic and decided to stay.
Where on Bowen do you live?
We live in Deep Bay in a little house on the corner of Melmore and Lenora.
What’s your favourite place on the island?
My neighbourhood.
What’s your favourite Bowen story?
So many stories but, I always tell guests about the tens of thousands of visitors that danced, camped and played on Bowen in the early 1900s.
What’s something Bowen Islanders have in common?
We love our families, forests, lands and waters.
What’s been keeping you going during the pandemic?
My family, my wonderful Bowen customers, my bees and roof gardens.
