When did you come to Bowen?
I have been coming to Bowen ever since I was a baby but I moved here 10 years ago.
How did you come to be here?
My grandparents have lived on Bowen for I think about 50 years.
Where on Bowen do you live?
I live in Bluewater.

I feel like you should fill the gap.
What’s your favourite Bowen fact or story?
Probably just the amount of community support – like if one person gets hurt, or if you get hurt [people will step up.] I broke my foot a couple years back and I got a ride to school every single day from a different person and some of the people I had never met before, but we got to know each other.
What’s something Bowen Islanders have in common?
Very little patience for tourists.
