A driver struck and killed a man in Abbotsford, B.C., just before midnight Tuesday night.
The Sept. 12 incident, which police say occurred at 11:28 p.m., left a man suffering serious injuries on Gladys Avenue.
Police officers, paramedics and firefighters were on the scene but the 35-year-old man succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the Abbotsford Police Department’s investigation. Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
A section of Gladys Avenue was closed as police investigated the incident, but it has since re-opened.
