Hi folks, as you may have noticed some new black boxes showed up around town on Friday. They are filled with Undercurrent newspapers, and since we’ll be unable to deliver to subscribers for the time being we encourage you to pick up your complimentary copy of the paper from these new locations.
The community boxes are currently at 5 different places: in front of our office at Village Square (under the pharmacy facing Trunk Road), at the Bowen Island Public Library, Bowen Island Community School, Artisan Square, and at the Ruddy Kitchen on Sunset Road. As we continue to adjust to the absence of mail delivery we’ll be increasing the number of community boxes around the island, with more information to come on that soon.
The newspaper will also continue to be for sale at our 4 retail locations: The General Store, Ruddy Potato, Bowen Beer and Wine Store, and Cates Pharmasave.
