DEAR EDITOR:
Kevan Bernards writes that motorized access to Mr Gardner is opposed only by a “small group”. It’s a lot bigger than the tiny group who want to unleash their machines at the expense of the environment and the peace of hikers. One good measure of the opposition’s size is that it was supported by a nearly unanimous vote of the community’s elected council.
