Drivers to and from the Cove will notice some traffic delays starting today as repairs begin on the storm sewer system under Bowen Island Trunk Road.
In addition to the westbound curb lane along the road, which has been closed for several weeks due to a sinkhole, the southbound lane of Miller Road will also be closed from Millard Road to the four corners.
Vehicles travelling down Miller Road will be redirected onto Millard Road, and then south onto Senior Road. The northbound lane of Miller Road will remain open.
There will be flaggers at the Miller/Millard, Miller/Trunk Road, and Miller/Senior Road intersections to direct traffic.
