The Canadian Coast Guard rescued an injured cliff diver in the Lions Bay area.
Lieutenant-commander Tony Wright of the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre said the Canadian Coast Guard deployed a hovercraft, which transported an injured person to safety.
The coast guard handed the diver over to paramedics at Sunset Marina.
The incident occurred in the late afternoon to early evening of June 17.
