The Craft Fairs have begun. Light up the Cove is around the corner. And another telltale sign of the holiday season is the annual Christmas Concert performed by The Ladies Madrigal Singers - “The Madz”.

This lively, fun loving choir is directed by Lynn Williams and accompanied by Sheilagh Sparks. This year the concert will be hosted by the affable Chris Corrigan and features guest musicians Nova Pon on flute and Laurie Beesting on recorder.

A few of the community’s favourite men will also add some “ornamentation” to the program.

Tickets are $20 for adults and seniors. They are $10 for students and children. Anyone under six scoots in for free. They are available at Cates Hill Pharmacy and at the door.

The show is at Cates Hill Chapel on Friday, December 1 at 7 pm. I am quite sure you will smile, tap your toes and perhaps shed a tear or two. Lynn and her singers are very excited to bring you some warmth and joy on a chilly December evening.
