The Bowen Island Fibre Arts Guild showed off their completed quilts at the Library Annex on Monday morning, September 12.
Many members have been working for several months constructing the four quilts, which will be delivered to Residential School Survivors as part of the ‘Quilts for Survivors’ program.
The project was started by Vanessa Genier from Missanabie Cree First Nation in Ontario. More information on the program can be found on the ‘Quilts for Survivors’ group on Facebook, or at www.quiltsforsurvivors.ca
