After more than a month since the last Vancouver Coastal Health vaccine clinic on Bowen, the jab is returning to the island.
VCH has scheduled a clinic for May 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Bowen Island Community School.
Bowen Islanders have in recent weeks been sent to the mainland for their vaccines (with the exception of the 300 people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine at Cates Medicine Centre).
As of Sunday evening, everyone over 18 in B.C. will be eligible to book a vaccination appointment and, if registered, will be contacted by health authorities.
Anyone over 18 can register for vaccination online or call 1-833-838-2323.
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said Thursday there will be more information next week about vaccinations for those 12 and above.
