A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after a crash on a busy Vancouver street Wednesday.
The collision was between a motorcyclist and driver of a Toyota Corolla. The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Nicola and Robson streets.
Police officers blocked off the intersection for hours and traffic was being rerouted around the crash.
The motorcycle was on its side in the middle of the intersection.
"The nature of their injuries is unknown at this point,” says VPD Const. Tania Visintin.
The investigation is in the early stages.
Officers could be seen taking photographs of the scene and speaking with witnesses nearby.
Police were still at the scene at 3:30 p.m. as was a tow truck.
