Adoptable pet of the week: Puppy Bosco has high energy and heart of gold

With his sweet eyes and quirky attitude, Bosco has become a shelter staff favourite at BC SPCA West Vancouver

Meet Bosco, a very sweet and excitable boy who is looking for his new forever home!

Being food motivated, he loves to sit and give you his paw for yummy treats and enjoys a good cuddle. He is also well kennel-trained.

Still being a puppy, he tends to jump up on you and give nibbles on your hands when he’s excited for a walk or for food, these are some behaviours his new parents will have to help work on with him.

Because of his sweet eyes, quirky attitude and desire for love and affection, he has been a staff and volunteer favourite!

Bosco is a Siberian husky-Labrador retriever mix with a prey drive, but a heart of gold. He loves to go on long hikes and walks, so he will need an active family that can keep up with his energy. He is a fast learner and enjoys his treat puzzles, lick mats and kong.

Currently working on his excitable behaviour, Bosco is quite intelligent and doing well with his enrichment plan. Because he is rambunctious and young, he would do best in a home with no children as he will need extra attention to grow into the beautiful companion he is.

If you are looking for a fun, sociable, sweet dog that could use some extra training and encouragement, he is your guy! Are you up for all the fun and memories that Bosco will bring?

If that sounds like you, drop BC SPCA West Vancouver between noon and 3 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
