Meet Clover, a beautiful, young female guinea pig with soft, gold-and-white hair that’s perfect for brushing.
Clover has been quite nervous coming into the shelter, as it’s a big change for her. This is quite normal for guinea pigs since they are natural prey animals, so she’s looking for a kind and patient owner who can help her come out of her shell and learn to trust humans.
Since she will need regular hair brushing to keep her long locks tangle-free and luxurious, this will be a great way to bond with her.
Clover came to the BC SPCA West Vancouver from a home that could no longer care for her, where she was not handled much and kept in an enclosure much smaller than she would have liked.
Guinea pigs require an enclosure at least four feet by two feet, a proper living space for these small pets that contributes to their overall well-being.
She’s been really enjoying having space to run around and different areas to explore. With love and patience, she’ll be the sweetest, most adorable companion, ready to bond and show off her gorgeous locks!
